What type of arrow to use is mainly dependent on the type and power of your bow. In general archers use wooden arrows for historical (traditional) bows, flatbows and recurves up to a certain power, arrows made from aluminium, carbon or a mixture of both are used for stronger recurves and compound bows. Be prepared to test several models, lengths and weights of arrows before you find the perfect match.
